#zenpinball I am the champ in 3/4 tables on my friends list. I saved ElDorado for last to give Hendrix some hope.
I plan on systematically destroying everyone on my Zen Pinball Friends highscore list. Shaman and Tesla done. Next up V12.

Legends of Wrestlemania Review (X360)

Written by M Jason Pfister

legends-of-wrestlemaniaLegends of WrestleMania is the first wrestling game I have liked in a long, long, long time,  mainly because it ditches all of the complicated controls for a simplified button mashing system reminiscent of wrestling games of yesteryear.  No more timing your counter move or waiting for one animation to end before you can start your next move.  No more having my younger brother kick my ass because he plays the game from morning to night memorizing the controls.  I can simply pick up the controller and within a few games have the hang of it.   In fact, this is the first time I have been able to beat him on a wrestling game since PS1 days.

Raiden Fighter Aces Review [X360]

Written by DerrickH

raidenfighteracesWomen say they're unattractive all the time. They do it to feel better about themselves. It's an old trick they've had in their repertoire for ages. Proclaiming to the world that they're too fat, having a bad hair day, not pretty enough, etc etc. And the response that's expected is 'No, no, You're gorgeous'. Its a way to force out a compliment. Men know about it, and we accept it. It's a lie that neither side believes but is tolerated because it's harmless.

She's not lying. At least, she doesn't think she is. She actually believes it when she utters the words, 'I'm know I'm not attractive'. I would always dismiss the depreciating remark. I'd give the standard 'You look great' response as fluidly as a giving the time and wait for the giggle that signaled the exchange was over. It never came. Instead she would change the subject, abandoning the thought of someone recognizing that she's attractive, and retreating to the more comfortable realm of a joke or bland conversation.

Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection Review [X360]

Written by DerrickH

sonicgenesisI'm sitting in front of the TV again, moving in figures eights on Space Harrier and I realize that its not nostalgia I'm experiencing. I'm still the same as I was in Lynnhaven Junior High School.
Theres a parallel here that is painful to see. The two time periods can be laid over one another and the only difference would be the resolution of the TV. The rest of the scene is the same. I'm sitting alone in a room, controller in hand. It was only a matter of time before the one friend that I had finally realized that there are better ways of spending time than talking to me. I'm hoping that shaving a second off my time in the Emerald Zone, or finishing the next level in Shinobi 3 will take my mind off of the situation I've put myself in. It doesn't.  So I retreat back into the pixelated world of Comix Zone.

I hate this title. The problem isn't the game selection or the controls. Both are wonderful. But the main purpose of Sonic Ultimate Genesis collection is to let you relive old memories. Unfortunatley its the memories that aren't very good.

Score 8/10
